Second class were delighted to receive a visit from the Animal Roadshow. We had been busy learning about Owls in school so it was a big surprise to meet a real owl in our halla! There were some very brave ladies who held snakes and rubbed a chinchilla and lizard, amongst other animals!! We learned all about their habitats, what they enjoy eating and some more interesting facts!
We completed science experiments in class where we erupted a volcano, investigated the effect of vinegar on an egg and watched raisins dancing in fizzy water!!! We had so much fun!!
