This week, Mr. Wilson’s class turned up the creativity and humour as they took on the classic comedy song “Camp Granada” by Allan Sherman—putting their own unique spin on it by creating a full music video!
Each child was assigned a line from the song and took full creative control of their moment in the spotlight. From directing the scene, designing props and costumes, to performing with plenty of expression and energy, the students brought the hilarious lyrics to life in style.
Whether it was fake poison ivy, canoe mishaps, or dramatic “homesick” letters, the acting was top-notch and the laughs were nonstop. The class had a brilliant time imagining and acting out the song’s over-the-top images—and the final result is nothing short of fantastic.
