Mr. Wilson’s 4th Class have been making fantastic use of our school’s computer room over the past week, developing both their digital skills and their teamwork abilities through an exciting partnered project.
Each pupil was paired with a classmate and assigned a country to research. Using our cloud-based tools, the girls created shared Google Slides presentations that could be accessed and edited from both computers at the same time. This allowed the girls to truly collaborate — planning together, dividing tasks, and watching their work come to life in real time.
Along the way, the class strengthened their word-processing skills by learning how to add and format text, use bold and italics for emphasis, and explore the wide range of presentation features built into the software. Their confidence with technology continues to grow with every session.
Once their projects were complete, the girls proudly presented their work to the class. This final step helped them develop important public-speaking and presentation skills that will serve them well in the years ahead.
It was a wonderful success from start to finish, and we are incredibly proud of the effort, creativity, and collaboration shown by all involved.
