Mr. Wilson’s Fourth Class recently made the most of the computer room to revise multiplication and practice estimation skills. The pupils enjoyed exploring a range of brilliant online games designed to test multiplication in many different ways.
Through the activities, the children discovered how division can often be seen as “multiplication in disguise” and learned that there are many different strategies to reach the same answer.
Working on the computers gave the class a unique opportunity to practise their tables in an interactive setting. The games were not only fun and engaging, but also encouraged teamwork and healthy competition, as many of the activities were team-based.
It was a wonderful way to combine learning with enjoyment, and the class came away with sharpened multiplication skills and lots of enthusiasm for maths!
