4th Class Narrative Fantasy Stories
Mr. Wilson’s 4th Class have been busy preparing for our upcoming narrative fantasy writing project. To get inspired, we explored the Hero’s Journey in literature and analysed some famous movies to see how this storytelling trope appears again and again.
We also focused on descriptive language, learning how adjectives can make characters more vivid and interesting. To test our knowledge and build our vocabulary, we played the game Headbands — but with a twist! Each question had to focus on a character’s appearance or traits, helping us practise using precise and descriptive words.
The girls had brilliant fun and came up with a plethora of imaginative characters. From SpongeBob to Mr. Bean, and from Snow White to Mr. Wilson, our classroom was full of laughter, creativity, and fantastic storytelling energy.
We can’t wait to see where our adventures in writing take us next!
