At the Doctors 🩺👩⚕️
Ms Fahy’s classroom turned into a mini doctor’s surgery this month as everyone took part in a fun “Doctor’s Surgery” role play.
There were confident doctors, caring nurses, and very brave patients describing their “sore arms” and “tickly coughs.” The girls learned how to talk about how they’re feeling, listen carefully, and understand that visiting the doctor is nothing to worry about.
The girls had a great time creating their own first aid kits, carefully choosing what they might need in an emergency. They also used playdough to craft their own doctors’ tools, including stethoscopes and other medical equipment.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and even a few pretend “injections” — all ahead of our upcoming vaccines.
