We have been such busy bees this term! We are working so hard on our sounds and reading and Ms Fanning is so proud of us.
We have been doing a lot of writing on our mini whiteboards. Teacher says a word or even a sentence and we try out best to sound it out and write it down. During I-Pad time we enjoy playing the blending and reading games on Khan Kids.
We visited the school library and we all got to choose a couple of books to read. It was great fun! Teacher read some stories too.
The Easter bunny paid a visit to our classroom a little early as he heard how great we are at our sounds. He dropped us off some new readers that we can read all on our own!
Celina Buckley who is an award winning children’s author and illustrator visited and she gave us a workshop. She showed us how to create scribble monsters! We all created our very own scribble monster using colours. Soon, she will send us an ebook of our creations! We loved having Celina visit us.
