Ms Fahy's Junior Infants put in fantastic effort preparing for our whole-school egg drop! As part of the project, we explored how parachutes work and discovered how they can slow things down as they fall. Using this knowledge, we decided to attach a bag to act as our parachute.
We also carefully designed and built a protective base for our egg using sponges, cotton balls, cardboard, and cartons to keep it safe on landing.
After all our hard work and teamwork, we are delighted to say… our egg survived — woohoo! 🎉
