In Maths, we explored capacity through a fun smoothie-making activity. This helped us learn about full, empty, and half full, as well as using different measuring instruments. We also discovered that containers can be the same height but hold different amounts—and we loved tasting our delicious smoothies! 🥤
In another activity, we made predictions about which containers would hold the most and then tested our ideas using measuring jugs. This helped us to develop our thinking and problem-solving skills.
Finally, during our water transfer challenge, we explored different ways to move water. We discussed which methods were best for carrying it and learned that bigger containers can hold more, but they are also heavier to carry.
