Senior Infants have had a very busy January learning all about winter, with the girls creating beautiful winter artwork and engaging in procedural writing by carefully writing the steps to build a snowman. Bella, our class teddy, has been very busy too, going home to a few girls’ houses and having great fun on her adventures. We also celebrated lots of birthdays in January, including Carrie, Méabh, Udoka and Kate K, making the month extra special. There have been some amazing Writers of the Week, chosen for their super effort and enthusiasm in writing, and in PE we’ve been having loads of fun exploring gymnastics — learning how to jump, practising bear walks and discovering different types of rolls.
