We were absolutely delighted to welcome Garda Amy into our class. During Aistear time, we have been learning all about An Garda Siochana and the wonderful work they do every day to keep us all safe.
Garda Amy brought us some colouring sheets and showed us her uniform and vests, her hat and her baton as well as a speed camera, a breathalyser, torch, handcuffs and walkie talkie. But the biggest surprise was that Garda Amy brought her patrol car and we all got a turn to sit into it. We even set off the sirens!!!
Thank you so much Garda Amy for being so kind to us and showing us how awesome your job is! We may have some girls looking for work experience in the future!!
