Merry Christmas from Junior Infants

19th Dec 2025

Ms Fanning’s Junior Infants had a wonderful time celebrating the run-up to Christmas in school.

Buddy our cheeky elf visited us from the North Pole and he got himself into a lot of mischief in the classroom. We loved coming into school each morning to see what Buddy had been up to while we were at home. He said we were the best girls and he has a great report for Santa.

We were so busy practising for our Nativity ‘Angel Express’. We were little superstars on the day! Well done cailíní!

The 5th class girls visited our class one day and they helped us to decorate our Christmas tree. It was such a fun day. When we were all finished, we turned off the lights and pulled down the blinds to see our beautiful twinkling tree. It was beautiful!

We did lots of Christmas art. We painted penguins and Christmas trees. We even make three ornaments for our class Christmas tree and we brought them home on the day of the holidays to put up on our own trees.

Mr Wilson’s class invited us to the Halla for a fun-filled STEM day! We did lots of fun activities such as making paper airplanes, building a strong bridge from Lego and we even built a tower from spaghetti and play dough. Bee-Bots were also a great hit!

Santa came to visit us in school. We couldn’t believe it. He was so kind. He even visited our classroom to see all the fantastic work we have been doing. We posted letters to Santa. We drew beautiful pictures for him in our letters. He will be so impressed.

Have a lovely Christmas everyone!
