This month in Senior Infants we’ve been having loads of fun and learning so much! In maths, we’ve been doing plenty of active learning, playing dice games and using ten frames to help us with our number work. We’ve also been working really hard in phonics as we learn lots of new sounds. Every Friday we love taking some quiet, relaxing time to do yoga together. We looked at beautiful pictures of the Northern Lights in Ireland, and they inspired us to create our own colourful Northern Lights art using chalk. We’ve also been putting a big focus on being kind, and lots of children have been caught being kind by our kindness spotters—Caroline, Orla B and Ms Buckley. Everyone made kindness cards for the whole class, writing thoughtful messages inside. And of course, Bella has been having loads of fun at the weekends spending time with all the girls!
