Our Trip to Cork City Gaol

Our 6th class enjoyed a trip to Cork City Gaol today. We had a wonderful guided tour of the Gaol and learned all about it's fascinating history and about the history of Cork also. We even took turns to pretend we were imprisoned there ourselves! We are looking forward to studying the prisoners of the past for our historical diary entries.
