The month of March has been all about Spring in Ms Fahy's Junior Infants, and what a wonderful and busy time we have had!
The children have been fully immersed in all things spring. During playtime, our classroom transformed into a bustling garden centre, where the children enjoyed role-playing and exploring the world of plants and flowers. They also had great fun creating spring-themed tangrams, developing both their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Our budding artists have been hard at work too, making beautiful daffodil art and designing colourful spring flowers using pegboards. The classroom is now bursting with bright and cheerful creations that truly capture the spirit of the season.
We even got our hands a little messy while planting seeds and carefully watching them grow and blossom over time—an exciting way to learn about nature and life cycles. To add to the sensory fun, the children made their very own “soil” using vegetable oil, cocoa powder, and flour!
It has been such an enjoyable and engaging month, full of learning, creativity, and fun 🌼🌷
