Winter Wonderland in Junior Infants ❄️
This week, we brought a little winter magic indoors by making our very own snow using shaving foam and baking powder! The girls were so excited to explore the fluffy, cool texture and immediately started creating all sorts of festive fun.
The girls enjoyed drawing Christmas trees, presents, and winter patterns in the snow, using their fingers to make wonderful seasonal designs. After that, they got creative and began building their own mini snowmen!
Once our snowmen were complete, we carried out a little science experiment to see how we could make them melt. We tested different ideas, and the children discovered that vinegar made the snowmen melt the fastest. They loved watching the fizzy reaction and talking about what might be happening.
It was a super fun, hands-on activity filled with creativity, sensory play, and a dash of science. A perfect way to celebrate the winter season! ❄️✨
